About This Server

SWG Talon Online is an unofficial, fan-made private server for Star Wars Galaxies NGE. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sony Online Entertainment, Daybreak Game Company, LucasArts, or Disney. Star Wars Galaxies™ is the intellectual property of its respective owners.

This server is run by fans, for fans, on a non-profit basis. No money is charged for access to the game itself.

You Must Own the Original Game

By accessing this server you confirm that you legally own or have owned a copy of Star Wars Galaxies. The game was released across three major versions and three official expansions:

The 3 Gameplay Eras:

• Pre-CU (2003–2005) — The original launch version. A complex sandbox with 32 fluid professions, player-driven economies, and a hidden, difficult grind to unlock Jedi status.
• CU — Combat Upgrade (April 2005) — Overhauled combat to feel more like a standard MMO, added level requirements to gear and a visible Jedi Trials quest system.
• NGE — New Game Enhancements (November 2005–2011) — The final version, which ran until server shutdown in 2011. Replaced 32 sandbox professions with 9 iconic classes, allowing players to choose Jedi from character creation. This is the version SWG Talon runs.

The 3 Official Retail Expansions:

• Jump to Lightspeed (2004) — Added space flight and real-time ship combat.
• Rage of the Wookiees (2005) — Added the planet Kashyyyk and Episode III content.
• Trials of Obi-Wan (2005) — Added the volcanic planet Mustafar.
