Taanab's warzone is no longer empty ground. Imperial and Rebel forces have been deployed across the planet, adding real factional conflict on top of the danger already waiting for anyone who steps off the shuttle.

Imperial garrison: Stormtrooper squads (including commando and bombardier variants) hold ground under a named Imperial trooper leader, escalating in reinforcement waves once engaged.

Rebel resistance: Rebel commando squads (Human, Rodian and Mon Calamari) and Rebel trooper units are actively contesting Imperial control on the ground.

The Taanab Cantina in Pandath City has been reinforced with its own Imperial wave defenses and a resident NPC band, alongside the C-3PO briefing already stationed there. A new starport showcase has also been added to the city.

SWG Talon is live and ready for players. Whether you are returning to Star Wars Galaxies after many years or entering the galaxy for the first time, our community is ready to welcome you.

One account gives you access to both galaxies. Our launcher keeps both clients updated, and our Discord community is available if you need help getting started.

We have added Taanab — SWG Talon's first open-world PvP danger zone. The moment you step off the shuttle you are flagged for combat. Everyone is a potential threat.

Visit the Taanab Cantina in Pandath City where C-3PO is waiting to brief you. The shuttle terminal is right outside for those who reconsider.

The game client is now available for download. Players no longer need to manually replace files — the client connects and patches automatically when you log in.
