Beta Notice June 2026

Welcome to SWG Talon Beta

SWG Talon is open but we want to be upfront — this is a beta server. We are actively tuning every system, from server performance and NPC behaviour to the launcher and client patches. Things will change, sometimes without warning.

If you arrive in-game right now you may find the server is packed with dangerous NPCs — AT-ATs, AT-STs, stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and worse. This is intentional during beta tuning. When we go live these will be removed from starter areas.

Please report any bugs or issues in our Discord. Every report helps us get to launch faster. Thank you for being part of the journey.

Taanab — Open World PvP

Extreme Danger Auto-PvP No Cloner

We have added Taanab — SWG Talon's first ever open-world PvP danger zone. The moment you step off the shuttle you are flagged for combat. Everyone on the planet is a potential threat.

There is NO cloning facility on Taanab. If you die here your character is permanently deleted. Enter at your own risk. No refunds, no exceptions.

Visit the Taanab Cantina in Pandath City where you'll find C-3PO waiting to brief you on survival. If you leave immediately, the shuttle terminal is outside. Most players do not stay long.

Mandalore — Home of the Bounty Hunter

Bounty PvP Cloner Present High Risk

The second new planet — Mandalore — is now open. Located in the outer rim and the ancestral home of the Mandalorian warriors, this planet operates under a different set of rules than the rest of the galaxy.

Any Jedi, Imperial, or Rebel who arrives on Mandalore is automatically flagged for PvP. Unlike Taanab, Mandalore does have a cloning facility — death is not permanent, but it still hurts. Pick your enemies carefully.

This is the domain of bounty hunters. Take contracts, hunt targets, collect bounties. The strongest warriors in the galaxy call this home. Think you have what it takes?

Tech Update June 2026

Launcher & Patch System Live

The old SOE launcher has been updated and is now signing in and patching successfully. Players no longer need to manually replace game files — the launcher handles authentication and delivers patches automatically when you connect.

We will continue improving the launcher experience over time. A new dedicated Gold Client launcher is in development and will be announced here when ready to download.

When the Gold Client drops you will need to download it fresh — we will give plenty of notice and a direct download link right here on this page.
